It's like a surprise birthday party that never ends. Our neighbors, Peter & Pilar gave James a frog, a tadpole and a habitat for them to live in back in June. For some reason, the frog and tadpole didn't arrive until this week. Surprise!
The frog needs a small mountain of rocks to rest on - surprise!
The tadpole needs fish food - surprise!
The tadpole will eat the frog if he gets too big - surprise!
We made the rookie mistake of letting James name the frog and tadpole. Here's how that went:
Us: What do you want to name the frog and tadpole?
James: Hmmmmm. Cozy and Wolksy.
Us (immediately realizing our error): Hmmmm. Don't you think Teddy is a good name for a tadpole?
James: Yeah.
Us: And how about Freddy for the frog?
James. OK.
(5 minutes later)
Us: So, what is the name of the tadpole?
James: Cozy. And the frog is Wolksy.
Here we are releasing Cozy and Wolksy into their new habitat:

how long are Cozy and Wolksy expected to live?
Are you trying to keep the guests away by putting slimy reptiles that might eat each other in the guest room? :)
