This whole "turning three" thing is really working for us. I think I start every other sentence with, "you know James, now that you're three...."
On June 26, it was "... you can get a big boy haircut all by yourself." And he did! He just climbed right up on the chair, let them put the cape on, and told the barber lady that he liked her earrings.
and despite this moment:
the haircut turned out great.
Since we had so much success with James, we turned to Molly on June 27.
"You know Molly, now that you are five months old, this book says you should be sitting up."
And she did!
She's even better at this now - really sitting up with her back straight, but not good enough that we can leave her alone.
Project for tomorrow:
"You know James, now that you're three, maybe you could do your own laundry."
JUST KIDDING.
